We've been to over 60 countries. And after all of it, Southwest China is where we kept coming back — not out of obligation, but because nothing else came close. The terrain, the culture, the people. Yunnan and Sichuan have a depth that most of the world still hasn't found. We built Boutique China because we wanted more people to find it properly.
We've seen what most China tours actually look like. Shared coaches. Overpriced hotels with the soul of an airport. A schedule that moves you from one landmark to the next without ever letting you land anywhere. We don't travel like that, and we don't build trips like that. We work directly with the guides, the guesthouses, the local families who actually open their doors. We know which tea harvest is worth timing your trip around, which mountain route only locals use in summer, and which guesthouse in Haba or Niru Village has been run by well regarded local family. That knowledge takes years — and it's what every itinerary we build runs on.

We will supply you with a travel itinerary covering accommodations, attractions, activities, transportation, and any additional requirements you may have, along with the total cost of the trip.

Contract Signing
We will provide you with a contract for your signature and request a trip deposit. We will guide you through trip preparation, providing packing guidance, setting up essential apps for confident travel in China, and addressing any questions you might have in advance.

Depart
Your private guide meets you on arrival and your journey begins. We stay with you throughout the trip — one text away for anything you need.
