It sits on Huanhai West Road at Xizhou, on the western shore of Erhai in Dali, Yunnan — about a hundred and fifty metres from the lakeside ecological corridor and a five-minute drive from Xizhou Ancient Town. Dali has both an airport (DLU) and a high-speed rail station two hours from Kunming; either is roughly a forty-minute drive.
02 How does it differ from staying in Dali Old Town?
Xizhou is the quieter half of the Dali plain — farmland, the old market town, and the lake shore, without the Old Town's evening crowds. You trade walk-out bars and shops for space and silence, and you are closer to the Erhai corridor, which is the reason most people come. A driver or one of the house bikes covers the difference.
