Who we’re working with
If you’ve researched China travel on YouTube, you’ve probably already met Yan and Flo. Their channel, Little Chinese Everywhere, documents the China most coverage skips — village markets, family kitchens, borderland roads — filmed slowly and up close.
We’ve watched their films for years. When a client asked what rural Yunnan actually looks like, the honest answer was usually a link to one of their videos — most often the one below. So when the conversation turned to building tours for their community, it was a short conversation.
Their verdict on the province matches ours: “If we had to choose just one province to recommend in China, it would be Yunnan.”
The journeys
The north-western loop moves through Bai, Naxi and Tibetan country — Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. The southern journey runs through ancient towns and working markets to the Hani rice terraces at Yuanyang, ending in the Mile hot springs.
